Softball Recap: Rosholt Takes a Loss

Rosholt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Wild Rose Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-6 back in April.

Rosholt saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sami Kaminski, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Rosholt's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Wild Rose, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Rosholt will take on Pacelli at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their 23rd straight victory, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wild Rose, they will face off against Marion at 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
