Basketball Game Preview: Heber Springs Panthers vs. Central Arkansas Christian Mustangs

The Heber Springs Panthers will venture away from home to take on the Central Arkansas Christian Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Heber Springs has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 26.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 74-43, which was the final score in Heber Springs' tilt against Pulaski Academy on Friday.

Meanwhile, Central Arkansas Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 73-45 defeat at the hands of Clinton. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 198th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 45th).

Central Arkansas Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Heber Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.

Heber Springs came up short against Central Arkansas Christian in their previous meeting back in February of 2018, falling 58-54. Can Heber Springs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
