Soccer Recap: South Caldwell Starts Season with Loss at Home

South Caldwell unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Patton Panthers on Tuesday, falling 5-0. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of three yellow cards before it was all over: South Caldwell's David Flores and Armani Alvizo and Patton's Jacob Ruiz were all carded.

Looking ahead, South Caldwell will challenge West Caldwell at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Patton, they will head out on the road to square off against Lincolnton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
