Basketball Recap: Tri-Township Tigers vs. Crothersville Tigers
Tri-Township was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Crothersville Tigers, falling 78-55. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Tri-Township this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-59 last Friday.

Despite the loss, Tri-Township still got an impressive performance from Dillon Stewart, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 13 boards. Stewart's afternoon made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Hector Osornio, who went 5 of 7 en route to 16 points.
Beau Napier continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Crothersville, going 10 of 14 from beyond the arc on his way to 31 points along with seven boards and three steals. Napier is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of CARTER JONES, who went 7 of 17 en route to 19 points.
Tri-Township's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Crothersville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.
Tri-Township will look to defend their home court on January 4, 2025 against Whiting at 7:00 p.m. Tri-Township is facing Whiting at the right time seeing as Whiting is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Crothersville, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 81-62 loss against Rock Creek Academy on the 29th.
