Horizon has gone 7-2 against Fairview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Hawks will square off against the Knights at 12:00 p.m. Horizon is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Horizon had taken Monarch down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Hawks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coyotes.

While Horizon ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 24-26, 25-17, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Fairview came into Wednesday's match having lost ten straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Skyline on Wednesday.

Fairview had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-22.

Horizon's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Fairview, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-11 and their overall record up to 5-17.

Horizon came out on top in a nail-biter against Fairview in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
