Basketball Game Preview: Marion County Eagles vs. Schley County Wildcats

The Marion County Eagles will face off against the Schley County Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Marion County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Schley County likes a good challenge.

On Saturday, Marion County came up short against Chattahoochee County and fell 64-55.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Schley County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 49-47 win over Crawford County on Saturday.

Schley County's victory bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Marion County, they dropped their record down to 8-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Marion County beat Schley County 51-44 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Will Marion County repeat their success, or does Schley County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
