Billings West faced Gallatin in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Golden Bears walked away with a 20-13 victory over the Raptors. Winning may never get old, but the Golden Bears sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

CJ Johnson threw for 142 yards and one touchdown on only nine passes. Westdon Kelley was his top target, picking up 103 receiving yards. On the ground, Payton Cicero rushed for 64 yards.

Billings West's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Gallatin, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 6-1.

Billings West wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 42-14 victory against Bozeman on the 16th. As for Gallatin, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-7 win against Belgrade on the 17th.
