Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Community Christian Academy). They snuck past the Byne Christian Saints with a 67-63 win on Monday. With that victory, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 52.5 points per game.

Community Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Thomas Hadley out in front who posted 20 points. Another player making a difference was Preston Smith, who had 19 points.

The victory made it two in a row for Community Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Byne Christian, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Community Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against CHESS Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. CHESS Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Community Christian Academy likes a good challenge. Byne Christian will take on Peoples Baptist Academy in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Peoples Baptist Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Byne Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
