Central has gone a perfect 6-0 against Little Rock Southwest recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Tigers will square off against the Gryphons at 5:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Central lost 8-1 to North Little Rock on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Little Rock Southwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Cabot, falling 17-2.

Little Rock Southwest saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rhyan Reasby, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Those RBI marked the first that Reasby brought in this season.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Little Rock Southwest, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.

Central took their victory against Little Rock Southwest in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 12-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
