After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Elkhart, Hubbard was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with an 8-5 win over the Riesel Indians. This was payback for the Jaguars, who suffered an 11-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Hubbard's victory bumped their record up to 5-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hubbard will take on Frost at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riesel, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dawson at 6:00 p.m. on the 24th.
