On Monday, Mojave faced Basic in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Mojave Rattlers enjoyed a cozy 18-0 win over the Basic Wolves. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rattlers.

Nakaijah Beasley threw for 31 yards and one touchdown.

Mojave's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Basic, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mojave will challenge Canyon Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Basic, they will face off against Silverado at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
