Basketball Recap: Greenfield Takes a Loss

Greenfield lost against Union City back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Greenfield Yellowjackets took a blow against the Union City Golden Tornadoes, falling 70-41. The Yellowjackets were down 50-26 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Greenfield has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. As for Union City, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-11.

Coming up, Greenfield will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central at 6:00 p.m. As for Union City, they will head out to face off against South Fulton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
