While Georgetown's victory against Dodson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Panthers 6-4. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

The win got Georgetown back to even at 10-10. As for Dodson, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Georgetown beat the Panthers by a score of 5-1 later that day.
