Volleyball Recap: Mira Costa Has No Trouble Against El Segundo

Mira Costa won the last time they faced El Segundo and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-21.

Audrey Flanagan paced Mira Costa's offense, picking up seven kills. Flanagan got some help from Milly McGee and her 12 assists. Jordan Shelor controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Mira Costa's win bumped their record up to 23-8. As for El Segundo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-5.

Looking ahead, Mira Costa will square off against Redondo Union at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. El Segundo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
