Bear Creek came out on top against Edison on Monday thanks in part to Jaxson Bayani's efforts. Bayani got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. The effort marked the most stolen bases he has had since back in April of 2024.

Bayani's strong effort led Bear Creek over Edison and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bruins are a perfect 10-0 against the Vikings going back to May of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
