Center was the 17-0 winner over South Park when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings fell just short of the Burros by a score of 15-14 on Friday. Even though they lost, the Vikings' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.4 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Center got a massive performance out of Jaedyn Estrada, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Estrada has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Nicholas Palma was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Center and nudges their season record down to 2-17. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only one runs. As for South Park, their record is now 3-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Center beat the Burros by a score of 16-0 later that day.
