Blaine waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 72-67 W against the Bellingham Bayhawks. For the Borderites, this counts as revenge for the 83-41 victory the Bayhawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.

Blaine's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Bellingham, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 1-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Blaine will face off against rival Sehome at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Bellingham is set to take on their familiar foe Mt. Baker at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
