Preview: Ripley Tigers vs. Milan Bulldogs
Ripley is on a ten-game streak of home losses, the Bulldogs a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Ripley Tigers will take on the Milan Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, Ripley was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 30-24 to the Tomcats. Ripley has not had much luck with the Tomcats recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Milan was beaten by the Golden Tide 66-21 on Tuesday. Milan was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-19.
Ripley's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Milan, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.
Ripley came up short against the Bulldogs in their previous meeting back in November of 2022, falling 48-36. Can Ripley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
