Soccer Recap: Boyne City Comes Up Short

After flying high against Calvary Baptist Academy on Friday, Boyne City came back down to earth. The Ramblers lost 8-0 to the St. Francis Gladiators on Monday. Boyne City haven't had much luck with St. Francis recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Boyne City's loss dropped their record down to 6-5-2. As for St. Francis, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6-1 record this season.

Boyne City wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Harbor Springs on the 14th. As for St. Francis, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Ludington on the 15th.
