Volleyball Recap: Sodus Takes a Loss

Sodus lost against Lyons back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Spartans lost 3-0 to the Lions. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-16, 25-4.

Sodus' loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lyons, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sodus will face off against rival Marion at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lyons is set to challenge their familiar foe Gananda Central at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
