Volleyball Game Preview: Overhills Jaguars vs. Pine Forest Trojans + How To Watch

Overhills is 2-8 against Pine Forest since November of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Jaguars will face off against the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Tuesday, Overhills came up short against Richmond Senior and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-8, 18-25, 25-19, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Pine Forest also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Jack Britt by a score of 3-1.

While Jack Britt got the win, Pine Forest sure made them earn it: two sets took extra rallies. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 19-25, 25-18, 29-27.

Overhills' loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Pine Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-19.

Overhills took their victory against Pine Forest in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
