Football Recap: Blountstown's Undefeated Season over After 13 Games + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Blountstown can now relate to. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 24-8 to the Hawthorne Hornets. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Hawthorne's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Richard Roundtree Jr, who threw for 126 yards and two TDs. Derryek Gillins helped Roundtree Jr out on the ground, rushing for 95 yards and one score.

Having lost for the first time this season, Blountstown fell to 12-1. As for Hawthorne, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

As of now, neither Blountstown nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
