Softball Recap: Arcadia Redskins vs. Upper Scioto Valley Rams

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Riegel, Arcadia was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Upper Scioto Valley Rams by a score of 5-1. The Redskins haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Alanna Tucker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on zero hits and racked up 15 Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 6.2 strikeouts per game.

On the hitting side, Addy Colman was excellent, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Addyson McCartney also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Looking ahead, Arcadia will head out to face off against Elmwood at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Redskins' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Upper Scioto Valley, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on New Bremen at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
