Softball Recap: Daniel Boone Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Daniel Boone's offense. They came up short against the Fleetwood Tigers on Wednesday, falling 17-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Blazers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Daniel Boone dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Fleetwood, the win (which was their fourth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Daniel Boone will square off against Cocalico at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fleetwood, they will face off against Berks Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
