Soccer Game Preview: Wake Forest vs. Franklinton + How To Watch

The Wake Forest Cougars will square off against the Franklinton Red Rams at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Wake Forest will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

If Wake Forest beats Franklinton with three goals on Monday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Cougars walked away with a 3-1 win over Knightdale on Wednesday. Given Wake Forest's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 136th, while Knightdale are ranked 419th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Franklinton kept a clean sheet against East Wake on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0.

Avery Doi was the driving force of Franklinton's attack as he scored both of Franklinton's goals, bringing his season total up to eight goals.
