Back at the plate, Gage Douglas was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Riley Biesk was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Severance). They blew past Berthoud 15-5 on Monday. The Silver Knights not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since May 7, 2024.

Brady Iverson looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Garrett Mann was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Finn Wischmeier, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Pomona has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Severance struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
