Soccer Game Preview: Longview vs. Royse City

The Longview Lobos will challenge the Royse City Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Royse City will have to contend with a Longview squad hungry for a win, something the team hasn't seen since January 16. Longview came up short against Rockwall-Heath on Friday, falling 5-2. That's two games in a row now that the Lobos have lost by exactly three goals.

Meanwhile, Royse City lost 8-1 to Forney on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 373rd, while the Jackrabbits are ranked 21st).

Longview's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-3. As for Royse City, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
