Volleyball Recap: Herbert Hoover Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Herbert Hoover waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the St. Albans Red Dragons by a score of 2-0. The Huskies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Dragons, too.

Herbert Hoover easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Lilli Lancaster, who had 11 digs and 11 assists. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Herbert Hoover's win bumped their record up to 21-2-1. As for St. Albans, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-9.

Coincidentally, Herbert Hoover and St. Albans will both be playing Hurricane the next time they take the court. The Red Dragons will head out to face the Redskins at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Huskies will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
