Volleyball Recap: Spring Hill Find Success

After losing to Franklin Christian Academy the last time they met, Spring Hill decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Raiders came out on top in a nail-biter against the Falcons on Wednesday, sneaking past 3-2.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Spring Hill got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 24-26, 25-19, 20-25, 15-13.

Despite the loss, Franklin Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Tatum Beathard had 15 digs and five assists.

Spring Hill's win bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Franklin Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.

Spring Hill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Forrest on the 25th. As for Franklin Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Providence Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
