Baseball Recap: Harvard Takes a Loss

Harvard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 12-1 to the Marengo Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 on Saturday.

Harvard's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Marengo, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Harvard is set to challenge their familiar foe Woodstock North at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Marengo will face off against rival Johnsburg at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
