Basketball Game Preview: Bethesda Christian Patriots vs. Rossville Hornets

The Bethesda Christian Patriots will challenge the Rossville Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bethesda Christian has given up an average of 52.7 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Last Tuesday, Bethesda Christian ended up a good deal behind Covenant Christian and lost 65-48.

Meanwhile, Rossville played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 71-47 to West Lafayette. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Red Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Despite the loss, Rossville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brayden Thiele-Hahn went 8-for-15 on his way to 24 points and six boards. The contest was Thiele-Hahn's fourth in a row with at least 18 points. Andrew Woollen also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Bethesda Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. Rossville's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8.
