Soccer Game Preview: Wakulla vs. Suwannee

The Wakulla War Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Suwannee Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wakulla will be strutting in after a victory while Suwannee will be coming in after a defeat.

On Wednesday, Wakulla beat Florida State University High School 3-1.

Meanwhile, Suwannee's game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 2-0 to Columbia. Suwannee have struggled against Columbia recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Wakulla's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Suwannee, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Wakulla beat Suwannee by a goal when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the War Eagles since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
