Basketball Game Preview: Sanger Apaches vs. Madera South Stallions + How To Watch

The Sanger Apaches will venture away from home to square off against the Madera South Stallions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sanger is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Sanger didn't have quite enough to beat Torres and fell 49-46.

Sanger's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Mia Pineda, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine boards, and Lucy Takeda, who posted eight points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Takeda has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Chelsey Killian, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 boards.

Meanwhile, Madera South was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 21-16 to Madera.

Madera South now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Sanger, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.

Everything went Sanger's way against Madera South in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as Sanger made off with a 58-35 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Apaches since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
