Softball Recap: Oroville Tigers vs. Live Oak Lions

Oroville had lost seven straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 3-16 to make it eight. They lost 8-2 to the Live Oak Lions. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 12-11 to the Lions when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Oroville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ellie McDonald, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Jenessa Igot was another, going 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

As for Live Oak, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-9. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.
