Weslaco East never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Pace Vikings with a sharp 11-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won nine in a row.

Eduardo Hernandez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 15 over five innings pitched. Hernandez was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
