South Summit had won two straight home games and Emma Broadbent did her part to make it three on Thursday. The South Summit Wildcats came out on top against the Union Cougars by a score of 48-38 thanks in part to Broadbent, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 24 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down 12 or more in the last 47 games she's played dating back to last season.

South Summit has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.

As of now, neither South Summit nor Union have any future games scheduled.
