Volleyball Recap: Catholic Takes a Loss

The Catholic Crusaders came up short against the Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association Patriots on Friday and fell 2-0.

Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association found their leader in sophomore Ryann Owensby, who had 14 assists and two aces. Owensby is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last nine games she's played dating back to last season.

Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Catholic will face off against Green Run at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association, they will take on Lynchburg HomeSchool at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The match will give Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association their first taste of in-conference action this season.
