Chapel Hill piles up the points against Little Cypress-Mauriceville

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Chapel Hill Bulldogs had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 35-7 win over Little Cypress-Mauriceville. Considering Chapel Hill has won six games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Rickey Stewart went supernova for Chapel Hill, rushing for 157 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, while also picking up 33 receiving yards. Stewart hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for nine straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Demetrius Brisbon jr, who rushed for 101 yards on only 11 carries.

Chapel Hill's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27.7 points. As for Little Cypress-Mauriceville, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Chapel Hill will face off against El Campo at TBD on Friday. El Campo will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. Little Cypress-Mauriceville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
