The Biglerville Canners will face off against the Bermudian Springs Eagles at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Biglerville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.8 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Biglerville didn't have quite enough to beat Annville-Cleona and fell 5-4. The loss was the Canners' first of the season.

Paige Slaybaugh made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-3. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.

Even though they lost, Biglerville lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 17 runs the game before, Bermudian Springs was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They came up short against Greencastle-Antrim, falling 14-1. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Bermudian Springs saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Hann, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Bermudian Springs' loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Biglerville, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Everything went Biglerville's way against Bermudian Springs in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Biglerville made off with an 11-0 victory. Does Biglerville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bermudian Springs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
