After losing to Bob Jones the last time they met, Cullman decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cullman Bearcats won by a run and slipped past the Bob Jones Patriots 2-1. That's two games straight that the Bearcats have won by just one run.

The victory made it two in a row for Cullman and bumps their season record up to 4-2. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Bob Jones, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cullman will take on Vestavia Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bob Jones, they will face off against Helena at 4:30 p.m. on March 7th. Bob Jones' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so Helena's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
