Prairie Grove's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Gravette Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted against the Lions since September 22, 2022.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (109-99) Prairie Grove actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23, 15-25, 17-25, 17-15.

Kaydance Jinks paced Prairie Grove's offense, picking up 15 kills. Jinks got some help from Avery Mann and her 37 assists. Burkeley Calvert controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Prairie Grove's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Gravette, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-7.

Prairie Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Elkins on the 22nd. As for Gravette, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Berryville on the 25th.
