            Basketball Recap: South Pointe Stallions vs. Dreher Blue Devils        
        
		
        
        
            South Pointe has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were a single  point away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   35-34 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dreher Blue Devils. The  match marked the Stallions' lowest-scoring  contest so far this season.

 Loss or not, South Pointe got some senior leadership from  RJ Pickering Jr and  Jaheim Hall.  Pickering Jr  posted 11  points, while  Hall  put up five points along with ten  rebounds and three  steals. Those three  steals gave  Hall a new career-high.
 Dreher's win  on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Marcus Johnson, who  earned nine  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jordan Brown, who  had seven points.
South Pointe's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Dreher, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.
 Looking ahead, South Pointe will be playing at home against Richland Northeast  at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Richland Northeast has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Dreher does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
