Basketball Recap: Decarlos Rudy's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Attica over Clinton Central

Attica lost against Clinton Central back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Attica Red Ramblers fell 56-49 to the Clinton Central Bulldogs. The Red Ramblers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Attica lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being DeCarlos Rudy, who posted 18 points and eight rebounds. Rudy is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Greyson Skeels, who had 11 points.

Attica now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Clinton Central, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-4.

Attica wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 69-32 loss against Seeger on the 20th. As for Clinton Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 92-65 defeat against North Vermillion on the 17th.
