Football Game Preview: Williamsburg Wildcats vs. Blanchester Wildcats + How To Watch

Williamsburg is 2-8 against Blanchester since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. Williamsburg will be playing at home against Blanchester at 7:00 p.m. Williamsburg is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Friday, Williamsburg didn't have too much trouble with Roger Bacon as they won 27-13.

Gray Robinson was his usual excellent self, rushing for 219 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Those 219 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Troy Harris was another key player, gaining 87 total yards and a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Williamsburg was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 316 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 316 rushing yards in three consecutive games.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Blanchester and Clermont Northeastern meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Wildcats simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Rockets 36-6.

Blanchester's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Williamsburg, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.

Williamsburg didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Blanchester in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 22-18 victory.
