Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fike). They never let the Smithfield-Selma Spartans get on the board and left with a 22-0 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Demons in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won seven in a row.
Gracie Vincent made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Vincent was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3. Those runs were her first of the season.
