Baseball Recap: Mt. Whitney Takes a Loss

Mt. Whitney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 11-0 to the Redwood Rangers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on Tuesday.

Mt. Whitney's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Redwood, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mt. Whitney will face off against rival Golden West at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Redwood is set to take on their familiar foe Porterville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
