After a string of eight wins dating back to last season, Skyline's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 3-0 to the Horizon Huskies. The game marked the first time this year in which the Coyotes were not able to get on the board.

Skyline saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Calise, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Having lost for the first time this season, Skyline fell to 7-1. As for Horizon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Skyline will take on Arcadia in a tournament on Wednesday. Skyline is facing Arcadia at the right time seeing as Arcadia is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Horizon, they will take on Poston Butte at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Horizon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.
