Mineral Springs never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Murfreesboro Rattlers with a sharp 15-0 win. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Mineral Springs, bringing their record up to 8-7. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Murfreesboro, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-12 record.
