Softball Recap: Gateway Regional Gators vs. Pennsauken Indians
Gateway Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Pennsauken Indians, falling 18-9. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gators of the 7-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.
Brooke Ream made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that she has brought in this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Worthington, who went 2-for-5 with two runs.

Looking ahead, Gateway Regional will be playing in front of their home fans against Lindenwold at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
