Basketball Recap: Johnson Takes a Loss

Johnson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 42nd straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 75-18 loss at the hands of the Pickens Dragons. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 481st, while the Dragons are ranked 24th).

Johnson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-23. As for Pickens, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-2 record this season.

Johnson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pickens, they will face off against Greater Atlanta Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pickens knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Greater Atlanta Christian likes a good challenge.
